Hartford Prek Magnet School uses Scholastic Big Day as a research driven, comprehensive Prek curriculum that is grounded in responsive, integrated instruction. Big Day prepares PreK students for kindergarten and beyond through intentional and engaging learning opportunities that build the necessary foundations in essential learning domains. It is organized into eight engaging themes with materials and activities designed to embrace children’s natural curiosity, and build knowledge, skills and concepts that foster integrated learning and success in PreK and beyond.
