HPS Advisory Committees
The Hartford Public Schools Advisory Committees provide forums for families, students, staff, and community partners to offer input and share feedback on school district programs, policies and processes. The Committees aim to ensure that the school district is responsive to the needs of its community, promote collaboration and communications across the district, and gather input and feedback.

In addition to the above committees, Hartford Public Schools has the below committees that have full memberships:
Partnership Collaborative Panel - The monthly Partnership Collaborative Panel meetings with the school district aim to strengthen relationships between the district and its community partners and provide a platform for two-way communication around district updates, processes, progress monitoring of outcomes, discussing key initiatives, and addressing any challenges or opportunities for joint action.
Faith-based Committee - To unite faith-based community leaders to support the educational, social, and emotional well-being of our students. We seek to foster understanding, promote inclusivity, and leverage community resources to enhance the educational experience. Through dialogue and partnerships, we aim to build a stronger, connected community that uplifts every student and family.
Superintendent's Student Advisory Council - The mission of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is to provide a platform for students across HPS to work in partnership with the Superintendent and Central Office staff in collaborative, solutions-oriented problem solving. Through these experiences, students will build leadership skills incumbent to effective advocacy and productive change. Learn More.
