My name is Zari Reed and I am a Junior at Kinsella High School of Performing Arts. I am a vocal major at my school so I sing everyday. I play outfield or third base in softball and am the manager for the Weaver Girls' Basketball Team. I am my junior classes president, I participate in model UN and I am a part of the National Honor Society. I was interested in being a part of the SSAC because I knew that I would be able to make a difference by using my voice and speaking for those who have an opinion but are scared to share it or just feel like no one will listen. I joined to show those people I/we will listen and that they are not alone. I also joined because I knew that there would be other people from other schools with big ideas and I wanted to collaborate with them and make connections for now and for my future. In the future I plan on going to college to get my bachelors degree in criminology or political science and going to law school after to get my Juris Doctor degree and becoming a criminal justice lawyer.

My name is Uzoma (ooz•oh•mah) Chukwurah. I am the SSAC Vice President and a senior at Classical Magnet. I’m the kind of student who’s involved in everything. As a member of countless extracurriculars such as mock trial, theater, sports, graphic arts, student senate and more, I enjoy contributing to my school community as much as possible. Because of this, I’ve viewed school from just about every student perspective there is, and am hyper-aware of the effects each policy has on HPS students. The best way to create an effective policy is to listen to the people these policies are directly effecting. Although this is my final year in the HPS system, I hope to make a difference for the students who come after me. My career interest for the future is currently a civil lawyer, but life is unpredictable. Whichever career path I end up taking, I know I’ll succeed.

 My name is Khiara Hill and I am a sophomore from Classical Magnet School. Other activities that I participate in include volleyball— both for my school and on a club team— and ballet. Aside from that, I also invest a lot of my personal time in writing what I hope will become my first published novel. I was interested in SSAC because it was the perfect opportunity to not only grow both as a leader and as a team player, but also to make a difference in the community that’s structured the person I am today. After high school, I’m hoping to go to a college for a degree in Creative Writing or English, and to continue publishing books as an author.

My name is Tiamoy Martin and I am a senior at Weaver High School. I am also an ambassador for my school's Insurance and Finance Pathway. Being the Secretary for the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council aids my goal in advocating for my peers and solving ongoing academic dilemmas. I plan to study Computer Science to obtain my Bachelors in Science, after which I will start my Masters in Software Engineering.
