Hartford Public Schools has earned national recognition for having a positive and successful partnership with the Hartford Public Library. HPL nominated HPS for the "I Partner With My Public Library" award through "Let's Move in Libraries," and HPS was selected as one of ten winners nationwide. The award celebrates the important work that happens when community organizations work collaboratively with public libraries.
The Boundless program is one example of the thriving partnership. It offers resources and services for Hartford Public Schools students through the libraries, so they have easy access to tools that can help them succeed. Additionally, students can use their student IDs as library card access points to allow seamless access to both school and public library services and resources.
