Rawson STEAM School hosted an event inviting parents out to experience what A Day in the Life as a Rawson Student looks and feels like. Parents showed up on time to school dressed in their uniforms and wearing backpacks.
Parents were able to attend our unified arts classes that support our STEAM theme: Art, Music, Technology and Physical Education.
In art class, parents designed their step to success shoes modeling after our school motto: Respect Self, Respect Others and Respect Our School. While in music class, parents sang together as a choir reciting the words to Lift Every Voice and Sing.
In conclusion to our event, parents met in the auditorium to watch a performance from Mr. Haaland's class. The event was a success!
