University High School of Science & Engineering Sophomore, Jordan Shelton-Smith, secured his place as Northeast regional champion in Madden NFL '24 Solos December 14, 2023, sparring for nearly two hours with number 1 ranked Baker High School, a school in upstate New York, to secure a tense 2-1 victory! Jordan finished 3rd in the Fall 2023 regular season, competing against teams from New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine.
Jordan, who is also an honors student at UHSSE, started playing for UHSSE ESports as a freshman during the Fall 2022 season and has made it to playoffs every season since playing for our ESports team. Jordan, with college coaches watching, also won 1st place in our UHSSE college recruitment LAN event in October hosted by Staypluggedin.gg.
