Twelve seniors at Weaver High School, Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts, and Bulkeley High School received some exciting news on Tuesday. The students learned that they received early admission to the University of Hartford and will receive the $20,000 Hartford Promise Scholarship!
The Scholarship is given to Hartford Public Schools students who are Hartford residents, have a 3.0 GPA, and have at least 93% attendance. Because they are Promise Scholars, the University of Hartford is also giving these students free housing.
