Registration for the Summer Reading Challenge is now open!
Hartford Public Schools is teaming up with the Hartford Public Library and other community partners for the Summer Reading Challenge. This year's theme is "Reading Through Time." If you commit to reading every day this summer, you could win prizes including Yard Goats tickets, sports gear, or lunch with the Superintendent!
Here's how it works:
Register online, at the Hartford Public Library, or with your HPS Clever Account to learn more and collect a game board.
Read every day! Try for 20 minutes a day.
Log the minutes you read each week online.
Win prizes for reaching your reading goals and completing your game board!
You can learn more information here. The challenge begins June 17!
And - join us for a kickoff celebration on Saturday, June 1 from 12 pm to 3 pm as the Hartford Public Library celebrates 250 years of serving the community! There will be a parade in Downtown Hartford, games, vendors, and so much more! Stay tuned for more details.
