Congratulations to Mr. Terrell Hudson of Sanchez School for being named the 2025 Paraeducator of the Year! Mr. Hudson has been with Hartford Public Schools since 2021 and also serves as an athletic coach.
"Mr. Hudson is a valuable team member of Sanchez Crew," said Evelyn Mendoza-Overton, principal of Sanchez School. "He goes beyond his role to support all students, staff and families of Sanchez. Sanchez Crew is super proud!"
The Paraeducator of the Year award honors one paraeducator who has demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in the performance of their job, thereby earning that person the respect and admiration of other paraeducators, students, teachers, administrators, co-workers, and parents.
Mrs. Mendoza-Overton, Assistant Principal Jess Zanghi, Superintendent Leslie Torres-Rodriguez, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Pupil Services Jennifer Hoffman, and 2024 Paraeducator of the Year Donika Vardhami (Naylor School) surprised Mr. Hudson with the announcement during the school day.
