“There’s a collaborative spirit among the Fellows that drives individual and collective development of scholastic esports programs and curricula,” said Jihan Johnston, NASEF esports education specialist and Fellows advisor. “We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan Wissinger to the global community of NASEF scholastic fellows. Students across the region will benefit from the career exploration and educational opportunities that will be offered, as well as the chance to create cross-cultural connections through NASEF.”

James Wood, NASEF tournament administrator and Fellows advisor, said, “As a former NASEF Fellow, I have seen firsthand the growth that our fellows will experience through this program, having moved on to develop multiple curricular and competition efforts. I’m thrilled to pay it forward by coaching the new Fellows through personal and professional development opportunities and guided collaboration with peers around the world. By sharing ideas and working together, the Fellows will exponentially increase the impacts of this global educational platform.”

The NASEF Fellows program is known internationally as a meaningful program that provides esports and educational leaders the opportunity to build inclusive global communities and develop unique pathways for young people to game and grow. Each fellow has the opportunity to design, develop, and implement esports clubs and career pathways that empower young people through their interests and passion around gaming and esports.
