Annie Fisher STEM Magnet Students Qualify for CT Future Problem Solvers State Bowl

The Annie Fisher STEM Future Problem Solvers (FPS), a pioneering team of four dedicated 4th and 5th grade students, coached by Briana Bernabucci, 4th grade teacher, and Laura Hipp, Future Problem Solvers coach, have achieved a remarkable milestone by qualifying for the CT Future Problem Solvers State Bowl on Saturday March 29th at North Haven High School.

This achievement is particularly significant as they represent the first Future Problem Solving team at Hartford Public Schools.

The Future Problem Solving Program is an international academic competition in which students engage in critical thinking and creative problem-solving to address global challenges. Our FPS team will be focusing on identifying and tackling complex problems related to current global issues. Students will work together to research, brainstorm, and develop innovative solutions, honing skills that are not only academically enriching but also vital for their future success in a rapidly changing world.
