Carlos Laboy

At the age of 4, Carlos Laboy attended Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut. He was introduced to dance at the late age of 15, while attending a Kinsella Magnet High School of Performing Arts in Hartford Connecticut. He was scouted and trained by the Albano Ballet Company, where he grew his newfound talent into a love for dance and specialized in contemporary technique. Carlos dedicated long grueling hours of training and floor work over the years and became a professional dancer at 18.

In 2017, Carlos had his big debut dancing in the Rudolf Nureyev Estate in Monte Carlo performing Peter and The Wolf, where he played Peter. Not only was he one of the youngest member of the company but this was also his first time performing outside of the United States. This opportunity drove Carlos to pursue even more, building his career within the dance community. In 2019, he started dancing competitively all throughout Europe. On top of bringing home 1st place awards on numerous occasions, he grew his reputation around the world constantly being invited back for further opportunities. He was the youngest guest artist to teach a master class at the International dance open, one of the biggest competitions in the world, located in Budapest, Hungary.

Carlos’s expertise has guided him to teach all throughout Connecticut. His success has trickled down into his students through his award winning choreography and detailed technique skills. Now being a studio owner, Carlos will continue to give expertise training and experiences to his fellow students.
