Working with Leslie Johnson, 6th Grade Students at Kinsella Magnet School Create Poetry

Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts 6th grade students had the opportunity to work with Leslie Johnson to create poetry using masterpiece art as inspiration.
“I'm so inspired by the empathy and imagination of Kinsella students that come alive in their creative writing and illustrations.” – Leslie Johnson
The students wrote persona poems to learn about perspective and point of view in language arts. Leslie Johnson will be working with multiple grade levels at Kinsella throughout the school year.
