Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts has a REGULAR 8:40 Opening today, Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
However, some of the suburban towns have a 2-hour delay. Please check the websites of the local news stations. If you town has a 2-hour delay, the buses WILL BE DELAYED by 2 hours. (They will still pick up your child...just 2-hours later...) When you child gets to school, they will be marked PRESENT. Of course you can drive your child to school for the 8:40 opening.
At the end of the day, buses will run as normally scheduled.
We will also be WACKY WEDNESDAY ATTENDANCE PRIZE GIVE AWAY DAY!! ALL students who are present today will have the opportunity to win fun prizes including toys, trinkets and t-shirts!
Thanks for helping sharing the importance of being at school everyday with your child and helping Kinsella's student attendance be one of the top in Hartford!!

Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts recently received two 3D Printers. We are looking for a volunteer with 3D printing experience to support our 7th & 8th grade students either before school (8:00-8:40) or after school (3:50-4:30) starting as soon as possible. The dates are flexible and we can work around your schedule. This Thanksgiving Day classic football competition between the Hartford Public High School Owls and the Weaver High School Beavers kicks off at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 23 at Weaver High School, 415 Granby Street in Hartford.
