February is National Children’s Dental Health Month! Let's take the opportunity to focus on oral health and our free dental clinics for HPS students! The Hartford Public Schools Dental Department provides high quality dental care to the school children of our city in order to ensure they are healthy participants in the educational process.
Did you know that Hartford Public Schools has free dental clinics for HPS students inside 17 of our schools?
Our Dental Clinics are full service, modern, state of the art facilities. Your students do not have to miss school for outside dental appointments. They can have their dental needs met during the school day and come home with a smile! Learn more here!
Click here to download and print a Dental Clinic Consent Form. Forms are also available in the clinics.
CT State's Husky Dental has a library of helpful videos you can explore here! The Web page includes 4 videos (2 English, 2 Spanish) on Tips for Brushing Your Teeth and What to Do if You Have a Squiggly Tooth. There are also audio files in Portuguese, Arabic, and Polish. And there is additional educational information and links recommended by our national partners at ASTDD (The Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors.)
