To students and parents/guardians,
Yondr Pouches/Cell Phones:
Cell phones and ipads should not be seen or used during the school.
Students who have a phone visible will be given a Yondr pouch beginning Monday January 13, 2025.
Students will keep the pouch with them and it will be unlocked at dismissal.
*IMPORTANT:
any damage to the pouch (intentionally cut, broken, etc.) and the student will be responsible to replace the pouch. As a reminder the cell phone policy is as follows:
1. First Offense: phone/pouch collected by staff and returned at the end of the day, home contacted.
2. Second Offense: phone/pouch collected, detention assigned, and phone/pouch returned at the end of the day
3. Third Offense: parent/guardian contacted to pick up the phone at the school
The purpose of this policy is to ensure our students are focused and engaged in the classroom on their work, and engaging positively and collaboratively with their peers and teachers.
Uniforms:
A reminder that students should be in uniform every day. Students can wear the light blue/white short or long sleeve polo, as well as the navy blue fleece, black/khaki/blue pants OR on any day students can wear a t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, or sweatshirt that has the Pathways Logo/Name on it as part of our School Spirit focus! There are no shorts allowed. Students cannot have open-toed shoes due to safety. Students should not be wearing pajama pants or ripped jeans/pants. And a reminder that the uniform shirts should be visible.
Backpacks:
Students should keep their backpacks in their lockers and not bring them in to the classrooms or lunch. We have implemented plenty of time during transitions between classes. Students can utilize their computer/laptop bags to bring to class.
Below is the letter sent in August outlining the policies:

Students who have no cell phone violations, are in uniform, and have no discipline referrals will be rewarded for their positive behavior and exemplifying our school vision of POWER2: Professional, Opportunities, Work-Ethic, Empowerment, Respect & Responsibility.
